This project is the final for my Technical Process class and involves creating compositions for every deadly sins. The objective of the project was to display our ability to combine digital and analogue methods to create a document that can be printed successfully on a tabloid newspaper on 55gsm paper. All the photos use my own photography and includes found photography. This project was printed through newspaperclub.

The cover design is a found photo from Pixabay. It is a photo of a burning stack of logs. This photo visually represents the burning fires of purgatory which the seven deadly sins lead to.
Gluttony represents an excessive indulgence. The big letter is eating all the smaller lines of text. This design was created by printing out lines of text and ripping them apart and pasting them on a paper then taking a photo of it. You can look at how I created this by checking out my process link.
This photo shows what it would look like if you were blinded by greed. The subject in the photo is shown to be driven crazy with his own blind pursuits. I wanted to make it look like his eyes were gouged out like he was unwillingly blinded. There are photos of how this was captured in my process page.
This composition is for Pride. It shows a constructed image that tells a story of objects that someone would want to be proud of in the highlight. In the shadows there are things that we are shameful of that we try to hide. This represents the vain attempts to flaunt the best parts of ourselves and try to hide the nasty parts.
